I agree. But it seems no one has time anymore. Oh well, I still have some time. Here is some news:
I am working on converting BES from an ASM program into an Application. So far, over half of it is completed. The entire homescreen along with the basic functions are working properly. Currently, I am in the process of converting the options screen. However, I don't really like the options menu anymore so I was playing around with different interfaces and different menus. I think I have the new menu the way I want it. Also, I am adding more functions to the options menu. As for completion date, please don't ask as I am only programming it when I have time (about a couple hours a week). But nonetheless, it is getting done.
I am excited everytime I program for it because it comes that much closer to being completed. Also, once it is completed, the hard parts are done. After it is released, I will only have to provide updates and fix bugs.
Plan on me asking for beta testers maybe sometime this summer (hopefully early summer). Otherwise, if you have any specific questions, please ask me.
As for being dead, we certainly are not officially. Although there isn't as much activity as there once was, I expect this will change at the release of our next big program (which I am guessing will be BES 4.0). Care to prove me wrong and release something major anyone?
